The Ankord exhibition

In the spring of 2021 Ankord Company took part in the International Exhibition UMIDS 2021, which was taken place from April 7 to 10 in Krasnodar, in ECC (Exhibition and congress complex) «Expograd South». The event gathered manufacturers of furniture, materials, components and equipment for wood processing and furniture production.

The 23rd exhibition, organized by the International Exhibition Company, was the first significant event of the furniture industry in the 20/21 exhibition season. New records were recorded at this event, both in terms of the number of participants and the total number of visitors.

The figures will tell the most eloquently about the exhibition:

• 420 suppliers of furniture, materials and components from Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, Italy, Turkey
• More than 2,000 sq. m and 4 pavilions occupied for exhibitions
• Over 17,000 visitors from 80 regions of Russia in 4 days

Representatives of the Ankord Company were particularly interested in the section «Equipment.Components». Everything necessary for the industrial production of furniture was demonstrated here: machines, tools, painting booths, as well as fittings, fabrics and other components. We also visited various lectures and conferences when the most topical and acute issues of the Russian furniture market were discussed.

Today UMIDS is the most important, the most technological, the biggest event in the industry both in South Russia and in the whole country. This year the exhibition has become especially long-awaited and necessary for both market participants and end consumers. For the participating enterprises, and for the Ankord Company, it was an excellent opportunity to present their latest achievements in work, share their experience with colleagues, establish new partnerships that will contribute to mutually beneficial development and cooperation.
